One of the most profound shifts we make with clients is when they start investing in themselves by spending some time on themselves each day.
One of the most popular de-stress techniques is taking a nice long relaxing detox bath. Because we’re typically also filling in deficiencies and re-balancing the system, I like the bath to be functional and healing for the body, as well as relaxing.
Who can benefit from a detox bath? If you have any of the symptoms below, you’d likely benefit:
- body aches
- allergic reaction
- digestive distress
- head “fog”
- sinus congestion
- thyroid dysfunction
Let’s briefly chat about why I’ve chosen these special ingredients for your detox bath.
Celtic Sea Salt – Simultaneously replenishes lost minerals while drawing out toxins.
Bentonite Clay – This is the stuff they use for “mud baths” at fancy pants spas. Studies show it is powerful enough to kill MRSA. That said, it works wonders on problem skin whether it’s eczema, acne, or rashes. It also leaves the skin silky smooth. (Be sure and splash on your face- it will thank you!)
Apple Cider Vinegar – Rich in natural minerals, vitamins, and enzymes. Supplying these nutrients to the body is crucial during a time of detoxification when all the systems in the body go into overdrive to purge out toxic material. The unique acids in apple cider vinegar can bind to toxins and help the body eliminate them more effectively. ACV also fights bacteria, fungus, cellulite, and Candida.
