This quick and easy breakfast is a nutritional powerhouse and can always be conveniently made the night before as well! Berries are full of cancer preventing flavonoids, and help keep eyes and the urinary tract healthy. Banana is loaded with B6 which is good for mood, nerve impulses and beautiful skin. Almonds provide heart healthy fat and protein to keep us feeling full. The sunflower seeds contain tryptophan which is said to reduce stress.
Simply combine 2 tablespoons of almonds, 2 tablespoons of raw sunflower seeds, and pour milk over mixture. Top with 1 cup choice of berries and ½ a banana. Optional ingredients: cinnamon, flax seed, unsweetened shredded coconut.
