Valentine’s Day was last week, but we’re still celebrating, mainly because we love chocolate! That said, friends, you’re in for a HUGE treat. Birgit, of  ‘simply birgit’  has an amazing DIY beauty post in store for us!

This is definitely the time of year for wintry, cracked, and chapped lips, but with our tested, (we didn’t have to twist any arms for volunteers on this one!) plumping lip smoother, you’ll be ready for whatever your post-Valentine’s week has in store for you…

All you need is a few ingredients you most likely already have in your kitchen. Ready? Let’s make those lips kissable soft!!

DIY Plumping Lip Smoother



  1. Assemble all ingredients in a small mixing bowl and mix thoroughly with a fork.
  2. Once mixed, place mixture in a small jar.
  3. Shelf life is 1 year.

That’s it!! So fabulously simple! We love that.

How to use:

  1. Add a small amount your finished Lip Smoother to your lips and gently scrub. (We dare you if you can do this without licking your lips!)
  2. If you have time and willpower, feel free to leave the Lip Smoother on your lips for a few minutes. For maximum plumping effect, try to leave on for 5 min.
  3. Rinse off with warm water and apply your favorite lip balm.
