This recipe is perfect if you’re having a gathering and are out of room to bake dessert. It’s a great summer treat and is a top request from my friends and family. It is also full of tasty chocolately goodness!! Click here for more about why chocolate is something you should be eating!!
Melissa’s Raw Brownie Cocoroons:
1 1/2 cups unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup pure maple syrup (or raw honey)
3/4 cup raw cacao powder
1-2 tsp alcohol free unsweetened vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 tsp pink Himalayan sea salt
Option: 1/4 cup chia seed
Here are a few of my favorite brands:
Mix all ingredients in large bowl by hand (super fun for the kiddos!!!) It’s going to look like one goopy mess. Don’t fret. They always come together well!!
Roll into small golf-ball sized choco-balls and freeze until set up. Keep in fridge until ready to serve!
