Alright friends, I’ve got a special holiday treat in store for you today! Another easy, DIY beauty blog from Lara Morrissey. She’s teaching us how to make her favorite foot scrub so whether you’d like to pamper yourself or make that special someone the cutest gift, you’ll want to keep reading!

The holidays are a time of year that most of us are on our feet a lot. Whether it’s shopping our hearts out, baking, decorating or attending yet another holiday office party, by the time we are ready to sit down and relax, our feet are screaming at us. Thankfully you don’t have to look far to soothe those tired tootsies. This DIY peppermint foot scrub is one of my all time faves. It is super easy, it smells great and it is sure to get those feet back in action in no time at all. It also makes a wonderful gift if there is anyone left on your list! Let’s get started! What you will need:

Mixing bowl
Coconut Sugar
Coconut Oil
Peppermint Essential Oil
Vitamin E Oil
Small jar with a lid (mason jars are the perfect size and work great!)
Ribbon (color of your choice)

Step One:
Pour 2 cups of coconut sugar into your mixing bowl.

Step Two:
Slowly add coconut oil until all of the sugar is covered and moist. (About 1/2 to 1/3 cup.) Mix together until you have a slightly wet, but grainy consistency.

Step Three:
Add 1/2 tsp of Vitamin E oil and 8-12 drops of your favorite peppermint essential oil. (You can add more or less depending on how strong you want the fragrance to be.) Mix well.

Step Four:

Scoop scrub into your jar or container  and voila, you’re ready to go! Here’s where you add the bow if you’re gifting this one!

How to use:
In the bath or shower rub a generous amount of scrub on your feet. Gently rub for 2 minutes, concentrating on the roughest part of your feet. Rinse with warm water, dry your feet and apply your favorite all natural lotion or body butter! Trust me, your feet will thank you!

Please be sure and “Pin” this recipe now so you can use it later this week!
